Does booking my bridal preview secure my wedding date?

If you choose to schedule your bridal preview before securing your wedding date, I won't be able to guarantee the reservation of your requested date.

Multiple inquiries are often received for the same date. Therefore, your wedding date will be officially reserved only upon the signing of your contract and the submission of the required deposit.

How much do you charge for travel and are there any additional fees?

All additional fees will be included in your estimate.

Standard Travel Fees: These are calculated at $0.71/km per round trip from each stylists’ home to the getting ready location as well as the cost of any on-site parking.

For venues located more than a 2-hour drive away, we kindly request an overnight stay to ensure proximity to the venue the following morning, minimizing the risk of any delays.

Additional Stylists: There is a fee of $100 per additional stylist needed to support larger wedding parties.

Early Start: In the event that an early start time is required, prior to 6:00 AM, a fee of $40 per hour will be applied for each stylist needed.

Holidays: A surcharge of $200 per stylist needed will be applied for services provided on holiday weekends. The designated holiday weekends include: Family Day, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Eve.

How does the pricing work if the number of guests requiring services differs from the packages you offer?

The booking minimum is $500.

Additional guests can be included at a rate of $150 per person.

Examples of pricing breakdowns to meet the minimum requirements:

Bride Only: $500

Bride + 1 guest: Bride $400, Guest $150

Bride + 2-3 guests: Bride $350, Guests $150 /person

Bride + 4 guests or more: Bride $300, Guests $150 /person

Can I make changes to my booking after my date is reserved?

Once your deposit is made and date is secured, you have the flexibility to include additional hairstyling services, but removal of services is not permitted. If you are uncertain about the number of guests requiring services during your initial inquiry, please leave them out, as they can always be added later.

If there changes to the getting ready location or the number of stylists required, that's perfectly fine—I will provide you with a revised quote.

Bridal Preview / Trial Info

Is my Bridal Preview included in the price of my bridal package?
No. Your Bridal Preview is a separate service with payment due at the time of the appointment. The cost of your trial is $250.

How far in advance should I book my preview?
I suggest booking your Bridal Preview three months prior to your wedding date. This allows you to the time to find and settle on a style you like closest to your wedding date. Booking a preview too far in advance may result in hairstyle choice change, which is likely to need a second Bridal Preview. To help eliminate the extra cost to you, this is why I recommend a date closer to your wedding.

If you wish to decide on a stylist before sending out any deposits, I am happy to do a Bridal Preview for you. However, please keep in mind that wedding bookings are first come, first serve and will dates will only be held with the submission of a signed contract and non-refundable deposit​.

Where will my Bridal Preview be?
All preview appointments will take place at my studio located in Cobourg, ON. However, I understand that some circumstances may not allow for this. On-location previews may be available on a case by case basis for an additional fee.

How long will my trial take?
You can expect your trial to be 2.5 hours long. During this time we will discuss and choose a hairstyle that compliments your specific features and wedding dress. Your trial includes 1-2 hairstyles. If you would like to try a third style on the same day, and additional $100/per style will be added if time allows.

Can I book you for my destination wedding?

YES ABSOLUTELY! I love a destination wedding!

While there is a standard flat fee for all destination weddings, the prices will fluctuate based on the location, as each country has different associated costs.

Should I use hair extensions and which ones do you recommend?

More often than not hair extensions are necessary to achieve most hairstyles. During your Bridal Preview we will discuss whether or not you may need them.

Clip-in extensions are great for weddings. I have extensions for purchase or for rent. Alternatively you can purchase them yourself. Some brands I recommend are Luxy Hair, Zala, and Bellamy hair extensions.

If you already have your own extensions, please bring them with you to your preview.
